Our Classic Cigarette Trousers are the result of fitting sessions on over fifty different body types. The slim-straight leg is neither skinny nor wide — it falls in a clean line from the hip to the ankle, skimming the body without gripping it. A touch of elastane in the wool suiting gives these trousers four-way stretch, which means they hold their shape through a twelve-hour day without bagging at the knees or seat. The cropped ankle length is deliberately engineered to show a sliver of skin or sock — the kind of detail that makes an outfit look considered rather than accidental.

Fit & Silhouette

Mid-rise with a contoured waistband that sits flat against the lower back. Slim-straight leg with a narrow ankle opening. Cropped length (designed to hit just above the ankle bone). Front slant pockets and two welt back pockets. Zip fly with an extended tab and hook-and-bar closure. Belt loops.

Materials

Outer: 96% super-120s wool, 4% elastane. Lining: 100% cupro (to the knee). Dry clean or machine wash cold, delicate cycle, in a mesh bag. Lay flat to dry. Steam-press to restore the center crease.
